We can supply forge manufacturing shells (Roth) which allows us to offer designs precisely matched to the approvals required. Coupled with this, Olaer Fawcett Christie can manufacture to any worldwide design standard. This means that the customer benefits by having a product that optimizes the relevant design criteria, saving both weight and cost.

Bladder Quality

The quality of an accumulator depends on the reliability of the bladder. To ensure we use the best, our group partner Sacatec Industries produces them for us.

Each bladder is subjected to a variety of tests to ensure long term usage with low permeability for subsea applications. Material Certificates can be supplied for full traceability and 100% helium testing is available if the specifications call for it.

Bladder accumulators can be supplied to suit a wide range of applications including hydrostatic bearings, lubricating oil supplies, chucking systems on machine tools, safety and emergency braking systems and many more.

Fawcett Christie Pulsation Dampers can provide cost savings to end users of pumping systems by reducing pipework and instrumentation damage, whilst also providing a more accurate dispersal of pumped products and improved reliability and accuracy of system instrumentation.

Our range of low cost Pulsation Dampers offer the following benefits:

• Removal of pressure spikes
• Protection of pipework and instrumentation

• Reduction of system noise and cavitation.

 Pulsation Damper units are accurately sized by using 'in-house' developed computer software.

Pulstaion Dampers are manufactured within the EEC to recognised standards, with Worldwide Service Facilities available.

Pulsation Dampers are available in Stainless Steel and Polypropylene models. Volume sizes of 0.1 litre to 2 litres, with working pressures of up to 10 Bar are available for the Polypropylene models.

Stainless steel models are available in volume sizes of 0.1 to 5 litres and working pressures of up to 1035 Bar.

We provide a range of diaphragm accumulators commonly used in mobile equipment and other applications where weight and space is a consideration.

There are two options within the diaphragm accumulator range:

• Standard Diaphragm Accumulators
• Additional Range of Diaphragm Accumulators

Fawcett Christie Hydracushions are non-repairable and have been specially designed for high volume, low cost applications where it is more economical to replace a unit than to refurbish it after a long service life.
